Robert A. Laughlin, M.D., F.A.C.S.

For more than 26 years Dr. Robert A. Laughlin has been helping people from all over the world in the specialty of plastic and reconstructive surgery. His compassion and skill have made a difference.

Dr. Laughlin is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery in the specialty of plastic and reconstructive surgery. This certification means that Dr. Laughlin completed four years of general surgery followed by two years of plastic surgery training. He also specializes in hand surgery.


Dr. Laughlin is the principal of Hilton Head Island Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the Hilton Head Regional Medical Center's surgical staff, and a consultant in plastic surgery for Beaufort Memorial Hospital and the U.S. Naval Hospital.
